Hillsboro Village

Hillsboro Village is one of Nashville’s quaintest neighborhoods, playing host to some of the city’s more exciting new fast-casual dining options and serving as stomping grounds for both Belmont University and Vanderbilt students. Vintage Nashville mainstays like Pancake Pantry—a must-visit for breakfast lovers—and the historic Belcourt Theatre anchor the neighborhood in the city’s history, while new establishments like the brick-and-mortar Grilled Cheeserie Melt Shop (an offshoot of the popular food truck) and Austin transplant Hopdoddy Burger Bar bring new flavor to the area. One could easily spend an entire day in Hillsboro Village: breakfast at Pancake Pantry, a couple of hours browsing shops like UAL and Pangaea, coffee and pastries at Fido, an afternoon matinee at the Belcourt, dinner at Hopdoddy, and a nightcap and darts at longtime local dive the Villager Tavern. Hillsboro Village is also a quick, pedestrian-friendly walk to Belmont Boulevard, which houses a similar strip of like-minded shops and dining options.
