On the main square of Flagey-Echézeaux, a stellar wine village lying a few kilometers southeast of Clos de Vougeot, this inconspicuous culinary haven fills up with locals out for a quiet, French-inspired terroir-driven meal. Expect creative twists on Burgundy classics such as oeuf parfait with a Crémant de Bourgogne sauce or snails served with a light fennel-infused sauce. The wine list is, of course, excellent.
