Most simple cafés and inexpensive eateries are in the city center, along the main shopping street on Stengade and around Axeltorv, the city's main square. If you are in Helsingør mainly to visit Kronborg, consider having a picnic on the castle grounds at the picnic area just left of the main entrance.
