2 Best Nightlife in Martinique

Casino Batelière Plazza

On the outskirts of Fort-de-France, the Casino Batelière Plaza was built in a striking nouveau-plantation-house style, all cranberry and white. Slots open at 10 am, but table games (American roulette, blackjack, and stud poker) don't start until after 8 pm and close at 3:00 am. There's always a bar open, and you can often catch live entertainment on weekends after 8. It's open Sunday night, when most places are shut tight. Restaurant Le Club Seven, which serves Franco-creole food, offers themed parties on weekends. A new concert hall is impressive as well.

Casino Trois-Îlets

The interior of this small casino was designed in a French Quarter style and houses slot machines, blackjack, U.S. roulette, stud poker, and craps (Friday and Saturday). The casino is open daily from 10 am to 3 am, but the gaming tables don't start cranking until 9. On weekends in high season, a DJ spins Caribbean, Creole, and international beats, and there's a dance floor. The restaurant serves up a marriage of refined creole and international fare, with fresh local produce; however, the tables are right in the middle of the floor, which is not conducive to fine dining.

There is often a cover charge when there is an event.
