Fodor's Expert Review Termas de Reyes
R4, Km 19, San Salvador de Jujuy, Jujuy, 4600, Argentina
Built on the edge of a spectacular river valley, this countryside complex has natural thermal baths—both indoor and out—that bubble up from underground hot springs. It was once run by Evita Perón's charity and twice hosted the famed first lady herself (she stayed in what is now Room 100). Life here is all about relaxation and panoramic views.
PROS
- the chance to take the cure and find inner peace
- fantastic views
- good in-house restaurant
CONS
- located 19 km (12 miles) outside of Jujuy on a partially paved road
- thermal baths are popular and crowded
- rooms could do with an update
