Train Travel

Amtrak's Cascades line serves Centralia, Tacoma, Olympia, Seattle, Edmonds, Everett, Mount Vernon, and Bellingham. Sound Transit's Sounder trains (commuter rail, weekdays only) connect Seattle with Edmonds, Mukilteo, and Everett; and Seattle with Tacoma and Puyallup as well as a few other suburbs.
