Getting Around
Getting to Zion requires some sort of transport to Springdale, but once there, it is much easier to use the free shuttle, which takes you directly to the park. A separate free park shuttle service drops passengers to 9 popular park destinations. The town is bike-friendly and walkable but transport will be needed to explore the mesas and landscapes beyond the National Park.
Restaurants
MeMe's Cafe (2-minute walk) is great for vegetarian and healthy options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offers local beers to boot. Deep Creek Coffee Company (8-minute walk) is locally owned by local entrepreneur Scott Williams who also owns guide company SAW Zion and Zion Cycles and can often be seen personally attending to your coffee. Locals and tourists mix to talk about weather and trails over nitro brewed cold press. King's Landing is a moderately upscale American fare restaurant with a great wine list and an even better cocktail list, including a twist on a Moscow Mule that contains mezcal.
