Bus Travel

At Kennedy Plaza in Downcity you can board the local Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) buses or trolleys. The Route 92 trolley links Federal Hill to the East Side, and the Route 6 trolley links Downcity to the Roger Williams Park and Zoo. RIPTA fares are $2 per ride; an all-day pass is $6. Exact change is needed when boarding buses, or you'll get your change back in the form of a fare card. RIPTA buses also service T. F. Green; Route 14 links the airport to Kennedy Plaza.
