A pair of college roommates started this now-popular craft brewery back in 1997, seizing an opportunity to bring West Coast brew knowledge and flavors to the Southeast. Now you can find SweetWater beers (especially the SweetWater 420 Pale Ale) up and down the East Coast. The taproom serves 24 beers and a full kitchen offers pub food like nachos and wings. Tours and tastings are $8, and sign-up is available online in advance.
