Downtown Atlanta clusters around the hub known as Five Points. You'll find the MARTA station that intersects the north–south and east–west transit lines, both of which run underground here. On the surface, Five Points is formed by the intersection of Peachtree Street with Marietta, Broad, and Forsyth Streets. It's a crowded area, particularly when Georgia State University is in session, and traffic can be snarled in the early morning and late afternoon. With the National Center for Civil and Human Rights joining the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, the Children's Museum of Atlanta, and CNN Center, Downtown has taken on greater interest for travelers. Centennial Olympic Park—built for the 1996 Olympic Games—is a great place to let your children play in the Fountain of Rings.
