During the week, this riverfront market caters to locals (who sometimes arrive by boat) and tourists alike, with specialty shops and full-service restaurants—including an Irish pub, a steak house, a Mexican eatery, and a couple of sports bars—all of which look out over the boat traffic on the St. Johns River. Water taxis shuttle across the river between the Landing and the Southbank. The Landing hosts many weekend events each year, ranging from the good clean fun of the Lighted Boat Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting to the more raucous Florida–Georgia game after-party, as well as live music (usually of the local cover-band variety) in the courtyard.
