Train Travel

Amtrak runs from New York to Boston, stopping in Stamford, Bridgeport, and New Haven, before heading either north through Hartford and several other towns or east to Old Saybrook and Mystic. Metro-North runs from New York to several towns on the southeastern coastline (including Stamford, Greenwich, and South Norwalk) and ending in New Haven.
