Bus Travel

Greyhound serves Fresno, Madera, and other Central Valley towns west of the Sierra. Madera County Connection buses travel between Madera and Oakhurst/Bass Lake. Eastern Sierra Transit Authority buses serve Mammoth Lakes and other eastern Sierra towns. YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) connects Yosemite National Park with surrounding towns, including Fresno, Merced, Oakhurst, Fish Camp, and Lee Vining; this is a good option during summer, when parking in Yosemite Valley and elsewhere in the park can be difficult.
