Fodor's Expert Review Ponte Vineyard Inn

Slow down in old Californio Rancho style at this hotel on the grounds of the Ponte Family Estate winery. Everything is big here: the Mission-style furnishings in large lobbies and public areas, the expansive guest rooms, even the double-wide corridors. All rooms have outdoor areas where you can sit, sip a glass of wine, and take in the vineyard and mountain views. Weddings take place on a regular basis in the colorful gardens here. Dining options include the courtyard Bouquet restaurant and the pub-like Cellar Lounge, which serves small-plate meals along with cocktails and craft brews. By 2018 the inn should have an additional 30 rooms in a separate wing.
