Fodor's Expert Review Queen's Landing
155 Byron St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, L0S 1J0, Canada
About half of the rooms at this Georgian-style mansion have knockout views of the fields of historic Fort George or the placid waters of the marina—ask for one when making a reservation. The property has a hushed, regal air to it, and even the business center is disguised to look like a library, with ceiling-high bookshelves and leather Chesterfield sofas. Rooms are elegant, with an attractive blue-and-brown decor, low-pile carpeting, and clean lines; many have fireplaces and jetted tubs. The Tiara Restaurant has inventive cuisine and marina views.
