Fodor's Expert Review Belize Jungle Dome
Banana Bank, Belmopan, Cayo, Belize Fodor's Choice
This well-appointed small inn near the Belize River has four attractively furnished small suites, with tile floors, lots of windows, and an uncluttered look. There's also a standard room, and a three-bedroom villa for families or groups. Meals, for guests only, are served at the poolside terrace or in a small café perched above the pool. Choose from an extensive selection of tours—including caving, cave tubing, horseback riding, and kayaking—or you can just laze by the pool, sip a cold Belikin, watch birds in the huge guanacaste tree, and listen to the howler monkeys along the river.
