These areas are less touristy and finding English speakers can sometimes be a challenge, though tourist offices and most hotels will usually have someone on staff who speaks at least some basic English. In a pinch, try gesturing and using just a few key English words, but it's a good idea to take a Turkish phrasebook with you on visits to this region.
