On one of the Born area's most picturesque streets, you'll find this cozy vegetarian and vegan café. The building was actually the main candy factory in 19th- and early-20th-century Barcelona. Today, sandwiches, cakes, pies, coffee, tea, and juices are served in this gracefully-decorated peaceful spot on the street behind the Picasso Museum. Look up outside this artistic café and admire the sign still engraved into the concrete: "Fábrica de dulces–caramelos–conservas–turrones–chocolates–grageas–peladillas": the entire gamut of Barcelona bonbons.
