Fodor's Expert Review Bluebell House
31 Kenneth St., Inverness, Highland, IV3 5DH, Scotland
At this traditional Scottish guesthouse, sturdy oak furnishings are featured in each room, including a downstairs bedroom with a full-curtained four-poster bed and a curved chaise lounge. There are many original pieces, as owners Margaret and Neil Hart have lovingly furnished the house with antiques. Pleasing color schemes throughout add to the charm. A five-minute walk from the river, Bluebell House has a great location in Inverness, and its hosts are some of the friendliest and most helpful people you may encounter on your trip.
