Fodor's Expert Review Balti House
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
If you find yourself craving curry, the dishes at this purveyor of Indian cuisine do have a subtle variance in flavors, though the spicing has, unfortunately, been adapted for Western palates. Standout choices include any of the soups or tandooris, the garlic naan bread, and the homemade kulfi ice cream, or for something a bit different, try one of their namesake Northwest Indian balti dishes—chicken, lamb, prawns, or veggies cooked with onion, garlic, peppers, and spices. The patio is a lovely place to sit when the sun is out.
