Bus Travel

Generally speaking, buses are a difficult way to come and go in Liguria. Although there are local buses that run between villages along the Riviera Ponente, it’s not an extensive network and can be a challenge to navigate.

ATP. ATP has regular, regional services along the Riviera di Levante, making bus travel easier here than on the Riviera di Ponente. 0185/3731; www.atpesercizio.it.

Volpibus. This firm provides service from Milan's Malpensa airport to Genoa, but there's no bus service between Genoa and other major Italian cities. 010/561661; www.gruppostat.com/autolinee-locali.
