Megas Yialos has slowly grown into one of the island’s more popular beach towns and is accessible by bus from Ermoupoli. Its nearby beaches, including the favored Megas Yialos beach, are within easy walking distance for those staying at area hotels and rooms. Restaurants and cafés also cater to summer crowds.
