Abram Village

The route through the mountains from Apeiranthos to the north is very scenic. Apollonas is a small resort with a couple of good beaches backed by a line of tavernas and cafés. It's main attraction is the Kouros, also called the Colossus of Dionysus, an unfinished statue in an ancient quarry. The return road to Naxos Town runs along the coast and is spectacular, hugging the clifftop for most of the way.
