Why We Like It

If you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel in Kensington and don’t mind the prospect of preparing meals in your room or eating out then why look beyond the Nadler Kensington? It’s stylish, cozy and comfortable rooms are an upgrade on most bed and breakfasts and you’re located within walking distance of the Museums and High Street Kensington, plus just a short taxi ride from Knightsbridge and Harrods.

Fodor's Expert Review

A great budget spot in a leafy residential location in West London, the Nadler Kensington attracts a mixed clientele who appreciate comfort and convenience over luxurious amenities. With no restaurant or bar, it’s a convenient aprthotel—or deluxe bed and breakfast with kitchen facilities—with a range of cozy rooms in various sizes that makes for a comfortable stay close to Earls Court and the South Kensington Museums on a relative budget.

You Should Know All rooms come with simple cooking facilities in the form of small kitchenettes to offset the lack of an in-house restaurant.

Room

From compact singles to grand deluxe rooms with sofa beds and triple bay windows, the range of rooms offers something for everyone. Decorated to a high standard, the rooms feel, dare we say it, almost swanky in their own way.

Tip Just to reinforce the levels of luxe that appear here and there at the Nadler, guests can choose from the hotel's Pillow Menu, should they prefer a memory foam to a goose down.

Bathroom

Bathrooms are simple yet stylish and come with either standalone showers or bathtub shower combos.

Lobby

Despite lacking amenities, the Nadler takes every opportunity to present itself as a luxurious bed and breakfast, starting with the lounge lobby where guests can spend time relaxing in a classy space styled with leather sofas and curated bookshelves.

Dining

A continental breakfast is delivered to rooms as part of the cost of the stay.

What's Nearby

Getting Around

Earls Court isn’t the prettiest neighborhood, but guests can choose to explore in the opposite direction and take in the rather more picturesque area around the Museum Quarter. What Earls Court does offer is excellent travel connections via the District and Circle Line. Taxis into the West End are quick as they follow just one major road into the heart of the city.

Restaurants

Family joint The Little French Restaurant (4-minute walk) is a great spot for French brasserie classics and romantic vibes, or Maroush Bakehouse (6-minute walk) delivers consistently great Lebanese food close by on Earls Court Road.

Bars

While not technically a bar, London Cru (15-minute walk) is the city’s only winery, so guests would be remiss if they didn’t take the chance to book a tour of this rarity and sample some authentic London vino. If you’d rather avoid bookings, head for famous London live music venue and café, The Troubador. For an example of one of the glitziest pubs in West London, head to The Hollywood Arms (15-minute walk) for real ale in sophisticated surroundings.
