Why We Like It

Accommodation as cheap and varied as this is uncommon in Belgravia, which makes B&B Belgravia even more of a gem. It may be fairly plain and lack any real amenities, but if a bed and breakfast is what you’re after then this is the place. Great for families and well-located in a posh neighborhood, just think, the Queen only sleeps a few blocks away in Buckingham Palace.

Fodor's Expert Review

Clean, simple comfort in the heart of Belgravia, B&B Belgravia is a classy spin on the classic bed and breakfast concept. Representing the ideal way for families with older children to stay in the heart of London on a budget, the numerous room options are a huge plus, while the location seals the deal.

Tip If you have a large party or can't secure a booking at B&B Belgravia, try the sister property Studios@82.

Room

Housed within a grand historic townhouse set back from the street behind those shiny black London railings, the rooms are a notch down in the grand glamor stakes compared to the entrance. Neutral colors keep things simple, allowing the light from the large windows to bounce around and do its thing. Doubles, twins, studios and interconnecting options make it ideal for families.

You Should Know Some rooms face the street from which noise can be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. Request a garden side room if you fear being woken by passing traffic.

Bathroom

Modestly sized bathrooms are perfectly adequate, fitted with baths and showers and decorated in stylish muted greys.

Lobby

The entrance hallway leads to a relaxed lounge space from where guests have the option to pick a book from the in-house library — not that we’re suggesting check-in times require a page-turner! Contemporary and a little more in tune with a certain Belgravia style, the public spaces offer more flair than the rooms.

Dining

Breakfast is included in the price of the rooms and includes a cooked full English or a continental selection of pastries, fruit and croissants in the bright dining room.

What's Nearby

Getting Around

Located close to Victoria Station, this hotel doesn’t want for transport options. The well to do neighborhood is quiet compared to similar central destinations so walking around on foot is a comfortable way to explore. Sloane Square, Green park and Knightsbridge are all close, and sights like Tate Britain and Westminster are a short taxi ride away.

Restaurants

Pardon? You’ve never heard of Chinese tapas? Head to Hunan (7-minute walk) to eat excellent small plates from this amazing little Chinese restaurant. Or try Il Pampero (10-minute walk), a refined place to eat delectable Italian classics that should definitely be booked, especially during lunchtimes.

Bars

Historic pub The Grenadier (15-minute walk) is both charming and haunted so hopefully one of those facts will appeal to you. Located down a quiet mews, it’s a cozy place for drinks when the temperature drops. A little more contemporary and probably not haunted — but who can know? — is the Thomas Cubbit (3-minute walk), a contemporary pub and dining room.
