Fodor's Expert Review Galawa (formerly Le Palace)
Editor's Note: This location is reported to be under new ownership and therefore this review may contain inaccuracies.
Tucked into a tropical garden, this popular restaurant, also known as Pipiri Palace, is famous for its barbecued ribs, beef fillet, and rack of lamb. Lunch features a well-priced prix-fixe menu. For dinner, fish-market specialties like curried red snapper cooked in a banana leaf and grilled tuna are good, as is grilled duck. The blackboard's daily specials are usually a great choice, and the island's best tarte tatin is made with salted caramel.
