Weddings

One day's residency is required to apply for a marriage license, and securing the license will take two additional days; no blood test is necessary. You’ll need to present valid passports, birth certificates, proof of single status (e.g., an affidavit or letter from a clergyman or lawyer), and original or certified copies of divorce decrees or death certificates, if applicable. The license fee is $4 (EC$10) plus a $6 (EC$15) stamp fee and a $3 (EC$7) registration search and stamp fee. Contact the registrar’s office (473/440–2806) for specific information regarding marriage licenses and marriage certificates.
