Marina Hemingway. About 20 minutes southwest of Havana the marina's home to the Ernest Hemingway International Marlin Tournament each May and June. Here you can arrange fishing, yachting, diving, and snorkeling trips—regardless of your level of skill or your budget. Scuba diving costs from CUC$30 per dive (there are discounts if you book multiple dives), and snorkeling excursions go for CUC$35. A two-hour, deep-sea fishing outing in the Gulf Stream will cost CUC$40 and CUC$15 for every additional hour, and a fish-trolling excursion will cost CUC$120 for four hours. Marina Tarará/Club Naútica. July sees the Old Man and the Sea Fishing Tournament, and the staff at this marina can fill you in on this competition.
