Fodor's Expert Review The Laughing Lizard Café

This eco-minded café is perched high atop a hill just off the Queen's Highway, north of Gregory Town. The colorful restaurant uses local produce to create island-inspired wraps, panini, and salads. They also have a full bar where you can order tropical smoothies, Bahamian beer, or fresh herbal iced tea. Jamaican owner Petagay Hollinsed-Hartman is committed to a green philosophy—all to-go utensils and plates are biodegradable, and aluminum cans are crushed and sent to Nassau to support the Cans for Kids program.
