Fodor's Expert Review Copper Chimney

Taking its name from the faux copper chimney at its center, this mildly faded restaurant has a regular clientele of business people and international tourists. It is best known for its standard heavy, North Indian dishes and kebab starters. The mutter paneer (peas with cheese) with butter naan and handi meat (slow-cooked mutton), rogan josh (Kashmiri-style spiced, buttered mutton) is exceptional. This is also a good place to try the traditional laal maas (mutton in gravy), Rajasthani-style kadai chicken (cooked in a heavy wok, and spicy), or tandoor (clay oven) meat dishes. The nine-item vegetarian or non-vegetarian thali (Rs 440) is good value for money. Alcohol is served.
