With a black-and-gold color scheme and spacious, opulently outfitted rooms, the Bellagio pairs Las Vegas sparkle with classic Shanghai views of Suzhou Creek and the Pudong skyline. It's slightly out of the way, set in Hongkou just north of the Bund, and although the area is being developed, there's not too much within easy walking distance.

- quiet location
CONS
- Bund prices just off the main stretch
- dark design theme can feel a little gloomy
- not all staff speak English
