You'll find German specialties like schnitzels and spätzelpan next to a huge selection of pizzas, the ever-popular steaks and game meats, some tasty vegetarian options, a huge array of sweet and savory crepes, and even a few pan-African dishes (the Malawian msamba veggie dish is great). Located in the old (very German) Kaiserkrone Hotel just off the Post Street Mall in a leafy courtyard, The Gourmet may not be exactly gourmet, but it is a good-value and is a perfect option for lunch.
