Train Travel

Frequent intercity train connections can be found between the Tanger Ville train station and Marrakesh, Rabat, Fez, and Casablanca; prices are very cheap, often even for first-class tickets. The Tangier-Casablanca high-speed rail line (LGV) is currently due to start running in summer 2018, but this may change as the date approaches. Trains also depart from Tangier to the popular seaside resort of Asilah and the Algerian border at Oujda.
