Don't miss the Bedouin-style BBQ held in a traditional goat hair tent on the hotel lawn during summer months. Petra Marriott is a 10-minute drive to the Petra entrance, but the hotel offers a shuttle (three morning departures from the hotel and three early evening pick-ups from Petra) and taxis are readily available. And the views, service, and serenity are well worth it.
