With a great location, a wonderful pool and spa and top-notch service, The Royal Beach is comfortable and luxurious. Its aesthetic may not be for everyone, but for those who love it, they may never want to leave.
Fodor's Expert Review
A newcomer along the coastline, this is the most modern and updated of the large hotel chains to set up overlooking the sea along the Tel Aviv promenade. The rooms range in size from tiny efficiencies useful for business travelers, to large suites—all with a notable sea view and most of which include a small balcony, great for enjoying the sea breezes. Wake up early to reserve your lounge chairs in the pool area, which fills up fast during summer and holiday seasons.

Room
With great sea views and comfortable bed, the rooms have a lot going for them, but the frou-frou design (think hot pink lights and cut-rate materials) might rub luxury travelers the wrong way.
Bathroom
The hotel's modern design continues in the bathroom, with angular countertops, round mirrors and powerful showers.
Lobby
Shades of cream, gray and plum make up the design of the Royal Beach lobby, where there's ample seating and large geometric light fixtures with track lighting. The hotel bar is tucked in the back of the lobby and offers plenty of bar stools and friendly service.
Pool
The showstopping outdoor Royal Beach pool looks like it spills over into the Mediterranean, and there's plenty of seating in both the sun and the shade for loungers to grab. A separate kiddie pool keeps splashing contained.
You Should Know The pool is closed during Tel Aviv's winter season, which can serve as a major disappointment to visitors who flock to the city from colder climates between November in March to soak up sun.
Spa
The Royal Beach Spa is run by the exclusive Carmel Spa group and offers top-notch service and a broad range of treatments.
Tip Situated just across the hallway from the pool complex and with a central lobby, the spa can be a little noisy. To center yourself and find peace before or after your treatment, slip into the blue-lit relaxation room (or bring earplugs).
Gym
The fitness center is sparkling clean and offers every piece of aerobic eqiupment imaginable.
Dining
Kosher diners, rejoice! The trendy and tasty WestSide restaurant the Royal Beach is both in-demand and also under rabbinic supervision.
Drinking
The Royal Beach bar, located at the back of the lobby, can pour wine, beers or cocktails, in a simple and no-fuss atmosphere. Light bites are also available if you're hungry.
