Xmas trip to Maine (Greenville/Acadia)

Instead of gifts we were thinking of planning a last minute trip to Maine but looks like the sowmobiling won’t be happening although we would love to do it. We are not opposed to a few small hikes and some sights so guess I am just looking for some last minute suggestions. We able to locate several cabins in the Greenville area so accommodations aren’t the issue just everything else. We have been to Maine in the summer before but never in the winter. TIA

Is this a family trip? How active? Fat tire winter biking is becoming popular in NH and probably Maine, too. The bike park near us does rentals and trails are groomed. It's a former small ski area that couldn't compete with the big ski area so now it's a year round bike park with a lift. There is mountain biking at Moosehead, check to see if they do rentals if that's something you might want to do.
